You may find it along the electric input cable..
The trolling motor alone does not carry a circuit breaker, or fuse..
If the tr.motor is pre-rigged to the boat by the dealer then there must be a circuit breaker between the battery & the pedal controller..
A circuit breaker is vital, or you may burn the motor when the boat gets stuck in heavy covers..
There are in general 2 types of breakers, the thermal type which will auto reset after cooling down, the reset type need manual reset after cooling down..
If you ever need to add one, here's the rule of thumb for a 12V system... fuse Amp = thrust capacity of motor, e.g. use 40A fuse for a 40-lb Tr.Motor
