One day in 2009 Sept, Lake Scugog...
The day before, the weather man gave out warning of thunderstorm in the evening..
So we started earlier than usual that day..
By around 2~3pm, the sky was clouded, no rain yet..
We were fishing an open bay...
As I made an usual casting I found the mono suspending in the air in a wormy manner not getting straight even had the bait entered into water...
It immediately rang the bell for me, I had heard story like that before...
so I turned to my friend trying to report the situation to him and found he was getting stylish with his hair (see pic)...
I knew we were in the middle of a heavy static field, which means thunder bolts are on their way..
So we packed it in immediately...with the 150 pushing from behind we had the boat packed and ready to hit the road in about 10 min...as we were leaving the marina the rain started to pour and when we looked back to where were fishing the thunder bolts were hammering like hell for quite a while....that one was close
