Thanks for the advice! Here goes;
Drive-in lodge, here's their website:
https://www.templebay.com/They also have a Facebook page, for those who are on Facebook. Several videos on YouTube as well.
Departure would be on Thursday 15 September (takes two days to drive up there, but it's a super drive with the colour in the trees and great scenery as we round Lake Superior) and we'd be back to Toronto by Sunday 25 September.
We fish for walleye, pike, smallmouth bass, whitefish, jumbo perch, and lake trout. Limits are pretty well guaranteed for walleye, bass, and lake trout.
Lodge is full American Plan, they provide all the meals and we fish with a guide each day. The guide also cooks a shore lunch each day.
It isn't cheap but it's good value for the money because the service is exceptional from the owner to the manager to the cook, the waitresses, and cleaning staff; first rate all the way. . . cost is roughly $2800 per person, additional costs are meals on the travel up and back, motels for three nights, and tips for the guides, cook, waitresses, and cleaning staff.
Anything else just ask.
Thanks
Jack
