auger 沒設"防跌" 試倒車时要小心, 有可能連auger bit 也推進洞去

下一步是研究怎么diy一个防跌盘子或竿子。在考虑搞个heavy dury的还能作把手, 用钻来提auger老觉得用力不当, 有把手最后几下清理洞口会方便些, 不用担心磨损clutch.

又研究了一下, 还是一步到位实在。买转换头就20几了, 干脆上plate。唯一不方便是钻anchor的时候要把钻拆下来。

如果不打算换钻，那clam plate应该是必须的，那个老款side handle不建议使用，很可能会损坏电钻body.个人觉得，八寸auger不管有什么电钻都要配clam plate靠谱一点。

和钻头钻金属一样，当快钻穿时，钻头受到的向上的顶力快速减小。在同样的压力下，钻头会快速下行，造成卡钻，钻尖崩刃，甚至扭伤手腕。
正确的方法是，油钻的自重大，不用手压，只要自重就够了，快钻穿时反而要稍微向上提，就不容易卡钻。电钻的自重太轻，靠自重是不够的，所以还要靠手臂下压。但是在快钻穿时要减轻压力。特别是在钻刀钝的时候，如果经常压力过大，对某些钻杆会造成塑性变形，这样就是磨刀片也没用。要换钻杆或要像椒Sr上次说的用垫片来提升刀片的切削后角。

记起上个月看到一个老外的钻, 想到这个简单方案。草图在手机上画的,请专家们见谅。简单说来就是不用手钻自带的wing nut,用个比钻头直径长两寸的threaded rod作轴, 用6颗螺母锁死, 最后两头加塑料套保护小兄弟。轻便可靠,有防跌和把手的功能。当然有特别特长的大侠就小心慎用了。

这个也看过, 连运费要50几加刀。3/8"而且接头不像是不锈钢,貌似amazon的1/2"那个强壮一点。

Auger wing-screw spec.- 6mm OD x 1mm pitch ( bring the wing-screw to the mega shop to match for a nut first and then the right sized threaded rod ) M6 is the magic spec actually

go for it if you can source the right size threaded rod....6mm is a bit lean for the job IMO
of course you may enlarge all the through holes to fit for certain bigger dia. threaded rod/screw, including cutting away the existing female threads on the auger head...this will make it difficult to use the original cranking handle again when needed to

Now you are talking about details. It probably involves too much trouble to get all the parts, also the rod and more nuts could make everything rust sooner. One way or another, I will be ready with a drill before this December. 颤抖吧，花花, 婆吃和三费事。
