我怀疑Rainmaker 所标榜的lever actuated drag 只是个clicker 不是drag
单一lever 只能控制on /off, 不能作无断式調較drag 的鬆緊, 那可是个扭掣的工作吧

FYI, you cannot adjust the drag on the fly .... u must use Allen key to open the cap, remove the cap, adjust the drg, put the cap back, allen key screws back, ASSUMING you have not dropped any screws ....

貌似不是。drag还是拿来溜鱼的，只是钓鱼时不engage，等中鱼后才engage。

float reel理论上是漂钓时阻力越小越好，没理由平白无故地加个drag去增加阻力。

The maximum drag on the float reel on the market is around 15lb which is way more than lake-run steelheads.

However, if you were to fish sea-run West coast steelhead, you would need 15+ lb leader in order to fight the much stronger current & the fish.

貌似不是。drag还是拿来溜鱼的，只是钓鱼时不engage，等中鱼后才engage。

you are 99.9% correct.

However, there are situations where you want to maintain your bait at the strike zone for a longer period of time, a drag would make your setup flow slower to stay in the strike zone.

象飞钓轮，在钓大西洋三文和钢头时，主要还是靠手来控制溜鱼，因为这两种鱼中钩时冲得很厉害，drag的阻力稍大便可能断线。一般调飞钓轮drag，就是调到猛一扯线，飞钓轮不松出来即可。我用的飞钓轮，最大的drag是1.5磅，我没觉得有什么问题。
