And once has trouble hard to pull it up.

check page 12 and then 9 in case of a stuck spike

I only had a season of experience fishing by the side of a 10' Talon in about 20 bass outings, never used a PP before though....
I found it user friendly, and fortunately never come across any problem with it...

Talon is electro-mechanically driven, from the mechanical point of view it's straight up & down actions and zero over-hang from the transom making it less damaging to the transom in case of side wakes....just a thought
